How to measure your English Pointer for good fit Collar:
Please be advised that:
- For buckle collar when you specify dog's neck size we will make the collar fit on central hole.
- There will be 5 holes and distance between them will be 1 inch (25 mm).
- For example: your dog's neck size is 20 inches (50 cm). Collar will fit on central hole at 20 inches (50 cm).
- There will be 2 smaller size holes - 18 inches (45 cm) and 19 inches (47.5 cm).
- 2 bigger size holes - 21 inch (52.5 cm) and 22 inches (55 cm).
- The tip of the collar after last hole will be about 2 inches long (5 cm).
- Those are handcrafted collars and some sizes will differ a little (but not significantly).
This item is equipped with steel nickel plated buckle for proper and easy tip adjustment and a D-ring to attach a leash attachment. Metal parts are rust resistant. That's why there will appear no such problems as dog’s fur discoloration or skin irritation. Also, the hardware is limited in contact with the skin. Furthermore, this canine gear is equipped with a D-ring for a leash attachment. This ring is steel nickel plated as well.
NB! We strongly recommend to service all leather products properly. Do not neglect simple precautions and do not expose the collar to direct sun, moisture and water influence. Use special leather creams, sprays etc.
